At Kilukka Farms, designing and nurturing food forests has always been close to our hearts. But seeing others experience that same joy—immersing themselves in nature, learning, exploring, and reconnecting—was truly magical.
Recently, we hosted our first-ever food forest retreat right here at the farm. What began in 2020 as a quiet journey of nurturing land and trees has now blossomed into a space where people can come together to experience the harmony of farming and forest life.
Participants joined us from across India, not just to gain knowledge but to feel the land under their feet, walk through the groves, and embrace nature in its purest form. The retreat was filled with hands-on learning, reflective moments, and meaningful interactions. Together, we explored the principles of food forests, discovered sustainable farming practices, and enjoyed the simple joys of farm life.
This retreat reminded us that food forests are not just about planting trees—they are about creating living ecosystems that nourish people, land, and community. It was an experience that connected everyone with the earth and with themselves.
We are deeply grateful for this milestone at Kilukka Farms, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for people to learn, share, and grow with us in the years to come.
