Growing a forest doesn’t have to take decades.
A Miyawaki forest is a method of creating dense native forests in a short period by planting many local species closely together. Instead of planting isolated trees, this method creates a layered ecosystem where plants support each other. The result is faster growth, richer biodiversity, and healthier soil.
This workshop is guided by Shihab Kunhahammed, Co-founder of Kilukka Farms, who has spent more than 15 years working with regenerative farming. Over the years he has planted 100,000+ saplings and conducted 150+ workshops across India, focusing on building real working ecosystems.
