The Story of
Kilukka Farms
Kilukka FarmsWhere Soil Meets Soul
Welcome to Kilukka Farms, a peaceful 5-acre eco-friendly space in the quiet village of Shoolagiri, near Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. This is not just a farm stay, it’s a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and recharge with nature, community, and tradition.
The dream behind Kilukka Farms began with Shihab Kunjimuhammed, who left behind a well-paid IT job in Bangalore to follow his heart. Inspired by his love for nature and the desire to live a simple, meaningful life, he started Kilukka with pure passion. His main intention was to create a space where people could feel peace, purpose, and the earth beneath their feet.
Since 2023, we’ve welcomed over 1,000 guests and hosted 100+ soulful events and retreats, earning the Airbnb Superhost badge and 5-star reviews on Google.
Here, you’ll find 100+ varieties of fruit and medicinal plants, grown with zero chemicals, using traditional, earth-friendly methods. More than just a stay, it’s a story of sustainable living, soulful hospitality, and a quiet connection with nature.
Our Architecture – Designed for Earth, Built for Soul
At Kilukka Farms, we build the way nature would want us to; with mud, bamboo, wood, thatch, and interlocking bricks. We keep things simple, natural, and breathable. No cement wherever we can avoid it. Just spaces that feel alive and peaceful.
Every stay is special! Be it a mud house that keeps you cool, a tent stay under the stars, or a traditional hut beneath Ficus and Rollinia trees.
Here, you’ll find cottages that breathe, walls that keep you cool naturally, and doors that open into gardens, fruit forests, and wide open skies. More than rooms, they’re cozy little corners where you can rest, feel grounded, and wake up to the sound of birds, not traffic.
We don’t build for show, we build for soul.
